Packing for a Winter Hike and Swim

Engineered for Hot & Cold

On a frigid winter morning, we packed our Plovers into backpacks and embarked on a 3-mile hike up an overgrown and frost-covered trail. As the smell of sulphur grew stronger and the air slightly warmer, we knew we were closing in on our objective.

When we arrived at the copper-blue pools the sun had yet to reach us down in the canyon. At a bitter ten degrees, the thought of stripping down to bathing suits was none too pleasant. But we had a mission to complete: product testing. With multiple pools of varying temperature and short trails between each, this was the perfect lab to see how our robes held up in winter environs.

The robes did not disappoint. The hot springs mission confirmed that we had accomplished what we originally set out to do: build quality, versatile robes that are equally as useful in the winter as they are in the summer.
